I like making skins, but the one thing that really bugs me is team colours. I really want to get rid of them since all they do is get in the way. Sorry if this has been posted before, but I really want to get rid of those colours. |

dude thats easy... convert the mdx to mdl with yobguls' fileconverter... look for the textures portion, look for replaceableID1, delete that and give it a invisble skin path(damn i forgot but its in wc3 itself, check yurself)... Then, goto the materials section, look for the part where it says textureID* where * is the no. of the replaceableID u deleted, change the filter mode from none to transparent...there u have it... NOTE: the 1st texture on the list is no. 0, not 1... |

Ah ah that's even easyer. If you make past it into bmp or jpg format file for a wihle and convert bmp or jpg file into blp with any file converter, since jpg and bmp files don't remeber alpha chanels there can't be any team color... |

Well, I tried the JPEG thing yesterday, and it didn't work. I did the usual save, close, re-open thing, but all I get is the team colours, he doesn't have the skin on him at all. I can't get rid of team colours that way, and I couldn't exactly work out what alfredx said. Sorry for double posting. |

use my method... that jpg thing is a noob method coz it cant alpha out team color unless u replace the team color with another blp(that would mess things up...), not to be offensive of course... |
