spell for heroes

i'm now making my map and it still need some touch
i have make 12 new heroes and their spell, but i have problems in choosing what spell that suites them
my heroes are:

-holy priestess
-light ranger
-dark knight
-pirate king
-assassin
-dragonite
-shadow master
-sea giant king
-secret agent
-space fel orc
-orc warlord
-warlock

almost all of them already got their spell
but if you have such idea i gladly consider it .

What type of map is it? Many types of spells will be good in one kind of map, but bad or even terrible in another.

What I mean is, RPG map? AoS style map? Hero Arena? Etc.. I would offer some pretty generic, common sense examples but that would be boring :P.

ther's lot of type i'll make first one is just a simple melee map and than it will improve to triggered maps than advance to rpg and so on

-- ** Custom Spell ** F and Pillage - Counts number of enemy units + buildings around him and gives him 15% worth of gold / lumber

actually, they already have their skill but i think the spell that i gave to some of them are not very suitable, so i ask. hey 'bout the custom spell could you explain more, exspecially 'bout the secret agent and pirate?

my assassin's spell is: poison knives, critical hit, blink, head shot
i wish to change blink to ambush but i don't understand how to work it.
the head shot is directly kill one unit but not structure nor mechanical, hero is okay.

still i wish for some of anyone ideas that can help me.

That sounds incredibly cheesy. One shot kill on a hero? That's real fair.

My advice would be to play a bunch of AoS and Hero Arena type maps and look for skills you think are balanced and made the hero more fun to play. Then, learn how to make those skills, since the maps are likely protected.

i thought 'bout the headshot it is okay because an assassin has to have the ability to kill an enemy without being known. i want to make a melee base game because there's another crazy ability such
-annilihation for warlock that destroy buildings in such area :ggani: (archimonde)
-for ninja (i download it from the forum ( i called it shadow master) ) is shadow image that create 2 image of shadow master that can deal the same damage as he does. actually i want him to create hundreds of his image but only for 10 seconds.
-the space orc has the ability to burn up the enemies with his flamethrower, and if the targeted unit being burned it can be died without we attack him...
-the dragonite has the ability to transform into frost dragon that his breath can freeze everytrhing he wants.

Howl of Terror - The Sea Giant King releases a howl that chills the enemies to their bones. Making them flee from the Sea Giant King for a period of time.

Assassinate - The assassin becomes invisible and slowly prepares for the kill. The assassin has to wait for a period of time while the target remains still, after the time is up, if the target is still in it's place and if the assassin had not moved, the target is killed.

Superman - The secret agent turns into a super strong fightning man of steel. :D

Redemption (Ever played a Paladin in Diablo 2?) - Creates an aura around the Holy Priestess that redeems a soul of a dead unit, allied and enemy. The soul heals the Priestess by a amount of HitPoints and the corpse is no more.

Fade to Gray - The Shadow Master creates a cloak of pure darkness around a target, allowing the owner of that unit do see nothing but a pure black screen, thus leaving all his units unable to be controlled. Lasts for a short period of time.

Multiple Shot - With the skill from the holy grounds, the Light Ranger has the ability to split her arrows to inflict damage upon the undead.

Naplam Drop - The Space Orc/Secret Agent calls in an air strike, spreading tons of naplam in the air.

Breathe of Fury - The Dragon releases a breathe of pure flaming liquid, damaging all the targets in the area with initial damage then slowly DoT (Damage over Time)

Consume - The dragon eats a target non-hero unit. :D

Armada - Calls forth a fleet of suicidal ships for the Pirate, crashing into the enemies dealing damage upon each crash


Well, have fun with those simple spells :D

UGH. Well, it's your map... these just sound hideously unbalanced. Imagine a team up of the frost dragon and assassin - one pins an enemy hero in place, the other kills them instantly. No challenge whatsoever, and the defending player can't do anything to save their hero from this. Killing buildings instantly is small potatoes compared to killing heroes instantly -- I'd be real mad if I got the anti-building hero, and I was killed repeatedly before even getting anywhere NEAR a building.

As it stands, I wouldn't play this more than once. Unbalanced skills ruin hero arenas.

it' isn't like you thought, they are not in the same team but different team, i attach the sample of my map, try it and thought about it, but for the one who don't care no need to dl it i guess.the concept of my real map is triggered melee, where first you choose a god/goddess than he will give you one or maybe two heroes than build up your defenses and play like melee map, (still working on the concept)

for the warlock he can destroy buildings from far enough but takes time to cast it 'cos he need to create......

in my map i already make 1 from my two new thought of heroes such ice revenant and thundermage. many people think wrong bout my heroes so this i give:

pirate king = admiral proudmoore
sea giant king = himself
light ranger = sylvanas
secret agent = marines
holy priestess = jaina (still on work for her spell)

for biflspud : just dl it and gimme more of your opinions
for darkenpride : i'll think bout your ideas, if i could make them i'll contact again.
