Too many stickies?

I think you guys need to cut down on the stickies, it is too much when a forum like the Map Development forum has 11 stickies.

Instead you should consider joining some of the less important stickies into one sticky called NOTICES or something similar.:////

if i get enough points, i will sticky this simply for irony's sake.

Yeah, I sort of agree, stickies are pretty much useless. Whenever a sticky is posted, it's pretty much a flagrant way of saying "IGNORE THIS TOPIC" in the minds of most users.

Maybe when a new sticky is posted, it should be the only post you see on the board until you read it, then you can see all the other topics... that'd sure get it noticed faster.

Yeah, I totally agree, usualy when I see a sticky, I feel like "eww boring!" you get the idea :D

I dont know what it is about stickies but i dont read them for some reason, its weird...

Me neither, which is why it is a waste of space.

There should be a limit on number of stickies.

Also, stickying a thread for points should be for a limited time. After that time, the thread will unsticky automatically.
