In my map, when I buy an item from a shop, it goes to some random unit, which doesn't have an inventory, even though the arrow is clearly above my unit which DOES have an inventory. Instead of going to it's inventory, it's dropped at the feet of the unit without the inventory, and there is no trigger that has anything to do with items... (Well there it's but I un-enabled them...). The abilities on my shop are as follows. Select Unit Shop Purchase Item Shop Sharing Is there anything among those that could be casusing this? Can anyone find a solution? If they do, please post. |

Use "Select Hero" for item selling shops, a shop with "Select Hero" can still select units that have inventories (or at least I think so...) also you can try editing the "Select Unit" ability and making it so it can only select units with inventories, although I don't see why you would have to.. I didn't... Your problem baffles me because I have a shop that DOESN'T have the "Shop Purchase Item" or any of the abilities relating to it (except "Select Unit"), yet it sells items and units just fine, AND it will sell the units to any other unit, but it will only sell the items to units that have an inventory... And WHY do you have the "Shop Sharing" ability on the unit? Shop sharing what it does is it allows allies of the buildings owner to buy stuff... So if its a unit built by the player then I understand, if its NOT a unit built by the player, then just give the unit to the player "neutral passive" and remove the "Shop Sharing" ability. Shop sharing might be the problem too... but I ain't sure, I haven't played with that ability much. PS. My custom building I mentioned above was given to neutral passive and it works great, and I repeat, the ONLY ability it has is an UN-edited "Select Unit". |

Ok, I'll try to tweak the abilties, and I'll get back to you on it... Oh and btw, nice color for your name, I strongly approve of it :D But seriously, I need to ask... How come like 60 people have glows today and yesterday only a few people did... EDIT: Ok, I changed select unit to select hero. Thanks! It works now! |

Well, I actually EARNED the points I spent to change the color of my name, its almost the same color of yours (the HTML text name of the color I used it LawnGreen) and I rotate between lawngreen and Lime for my actual posts... But to get back to your question, there was a glitch in the site and for like 30minutes everyone had a couple thousand points, and some people took advantage of that fact, and that is why you see so many glows now. Some people got their glow fair and square, but many took advantage of the glitch. Which was a bad idea because I hear the mods didn't like that and have been banning people... |
