Hello, I have downloaded Yobgul's MDX Converter, and extracted it into my War3 directory, like it asks. However, whenever I try to start it up, I get an error saying "The ordinal 744 could not be located in the dynamic link libary War3.exe" I was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this problem? I have Frozen Throne, if anyone needs to know. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

If you got your install anywhere but an official retail cd or a patch from the blizzard site, it may be corrupted or a version that yobguls' converter doesn't recognize. If it is the case that your executable is fine, it may be that yobguls' converter doesn't work with certain updates. What version patch do you have for TFT? Anybody else with the same version have problems with yobguls'? |

What you need to do is open the original war3.mpq and extract game.dll war3.exe and storm.dll. Put those in seperate directory along with the yobgules convertor files. |

For all those who have this problem I suggest to use my installer, which extracts the appropriate files automatically. Get it in the Downlaod Area. |

Ok, so, I'm having this exact same problem. I started out getting the 'ordinal 744' error. So then, taking Stoned's advice, I extracted War3.exe, game.dll and storm.dll from war3.mpq. I wasn't quite sure where to put them so I put them all in my WarCraft 3 directory (after backing up all of them) along with the mpq2k folder. But, now I'm getting an error saying the program fails to initialize properly. HELP! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [THE FOLLOWING IS AN EDIT MADE AFTER I FIXED MY PROBLEM] First, for the record, I'm the biggest newbie modding idiot ever. Second, if there are any other huge newbie modding idiots, I have a solution to my described problem. First, use the War3FileConverterInstaller.exe that you download from this site to install to a Yobguls folder you create in your WarCraft 3 directory. Example: C:/WarCraft 3/YobGuls/ Then use WinMPQ to extract the following files into that folder. Game.dll ijl15.dll Mss32.dll Storm.dll As long as you didn't do what I did (and just haphazardly moved all the files all over your compy), it should work. Finally, I'd like to give a big "THANK YOU" To Master Slowpoke's website for helping me to figure this out. |

1) You should put the File Converter into a subdirectory of your WC3 directory. What you did is downgrading your WC3 files to v1.0 (which wasn't a good idea). 2) I suggest to use the installer (created by me): http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=23516 (please don't forget to put it into an independent directory inside your WC3 path, i.e. C:\Program Files\WC3\File Converter\) 3) Don't forget to restore your backup. |

You were just supposed to extract them into a new folder. Eitherway, remove the new files put your backups back and then use Starcraftfreaks install :) |
