TERRAINING CLAN!!!! (Dont Vote Yet)

All you terrainers out there, this is your chance to join a clan where people like you can exchange terraining tips and maps, chat, and just play WC3 together. This clan is for terrainers only, though, so if you have talent in terraining and want to join, post that you do and a pic of your work. You will be accepted simply by having interest in the group.


The five most active, supportive, and talented members of the group will be set up as the council (I will also be a member of the council.) Note that the council members may be expelled from the council if they are not active in the group. The council will meet at a specified location at specified times and will create policies for the whole group. They can also meet and decide dates for contests, tournaments, games, etc. They can also vote to increase the number of counselors in the council. This will likely occur as the group grows in size.

There are some rules, however, that I have made myself. Any other rules the council will make.


ORGANIZATION:
I will be the founder (note: FOUNDER) of the clan. Anyone who joins afterwards will be members. I'm just the founder, not the 'master terrainer' because I honestly don't know how good some people are, and the fact that it's hard to judge terrain anyway. Contests will be held (like playing melee maps on bnet that people have made or having a terrain contest) every month or so at least. These contests will be determined by the council.

RANKS
Member- The lowest rank in the group, these are people who have just joined, or are not very active in the group. They have no powers over the clan's government. They may NOT submit tutorials.
Active Member- These are members who have shown an interest in the group and are normally active. They take part in events, contests, and give advice when asked. However, they still have no direct powers in the clan's government, but can give ideas to the council or respected members. They also may NOT submit tutorials.
Respected Member- These members are very active in the group and submit work often. They take part in events and contests, and give advice. They can also become judges in terrain contests if they wish. Respected members can give ideas to the council, and can submit their own tutorials.
Counselor- Counselors act as the government of the clan. They have all the powers of respected members, but they have the power to vote on policies of the clan. They will also have moderator powers on the clan's forum.


RECRUITING:
Do not recruit people off of Battle.net. All members must join from WC3Campaigns.com or (if you are on another forum of a similar kind) you can get them off of other internet forums. You can also get them to email you and forward it to my email address. If you wish to recruit someone, CONTACT ME and show a pic of their abilities. Then, and only then, will they be admitted. (i.e. Only if I say so. :P)

OTHER RULES:
Spam- DO NOT SPAM EVER!! DO NOT BOTHER OTHER USERS ON BNET IF YOU HAVE THE CLAN INSIGNIA ON YOUR ACCOUNT!!! I don't want to give the clan a bad rep. I want it to be something people look up to and respect. If you are in the clan, you have shown that you are an excellent terrainer and worthy of other's respect.

Advertisment- Do not advertise unless it is in your signature. Do not post new threads just to advertised. Do not put a huge picture in your sig, or post anything about the clan in a thread. The signature should merely have you rank in the clan, with the clan name, you may also have a url for information if you desire.

Respect- Have respect for the other members. You are not the only person good at terrain. Do not slander their work when they offer you to positively criticize. Show respect for all members in the clan, as well as anyone not in the clan. DO NOT BRAG EVER. When you join the clan, you are all equal in skill to every other member. Don't think it bad if someone is not quite as good as you. Rank does not necessarily mean you're better than someone at terraining, merely that you are an active and contributing member to the group.

Plagiarism- As on these forums, NEVER copy someone else's terrain and post it as your own. Do not base your terrain off someone else's and change things around so it's not noticeable. All work should be your own. If you copy someone else's terrain, you will be expelled from the clan without a warning.

All rulebreakers WILL BE EXPELLED FROM THE CLAN. If you see someone break a rule, inform me. You have one warning, and then you will be kicked out. (and looked down upon) If you simply follow these rules, and any rules that will be made by the clan as a group, you will make the experience enjoyable to you and your fellow members.


I'm sure you're all wondering about the poll. When we get a list of names, I will have Electromancer change the poll so that members may vote. You may post a name you want the clan to be, and I'll put the ten top names up on the poll. Then we'll vote for the name of the clan!

Well I made that little map just for this clan, I tried. When I went back to add doodads like you said, I tested it and my computer crashed. I guess when I messed with a trigger I made something wrong. That is now the only pict I have of that map. Heres a pict of my map "Tower Command", its not very good but it's something I made.
