I've been trying to think up some completely original ideas for a WC map. I've got a team that can create just about anything, and i'm usually good at comin up with ideas, but i'm finding now that after i start making my idea they just turn out to be some sort of AoS, or RPG, with a really weird twist. I was just wondering what sort of ideas people had out there. I'm not really looking to steal an idea, i was just curious as to what peoples brains were thinking :D |

Sorry, S_L. All the stories in the world have already been written; you're not going to invent the next "Boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy levels up to 10th and kicks butt to get girl" saga. If you distill people's efforts to "Another RPG," then yeah, um, everything's already been done. However, game styles (RPG, TD, AoS, etc) are popular because they're tried and true. Putting a novel spin on a standard genre is perfectly acceptable inspiration, IMHO. |
