Classic Final Fantasy Four Remake

A campaign in development, hopefully to finish and become well known and respected.
The Campaign shall be called Final Fantasy Shattered Hope.
It will feature same story, characters, plot, gameplay as the well known game of Final Fantasy Four. Battle System, Menu, Story, and Hopefully new models, if not, then skinned. XD.
For this campaign or mod, I will contribute by editing spells(slk) triggering, terraining, and skinning. The character dialogue will be the same as the game, and I already know the dialogue. Hopefully this skill of mine will come in handy.

although you'd get a lot more help if you told the public all of what you needed.

i'd like to help, but that would require a hefty amount of cash for frozen throne.

one thing i do suggest is beautifying the environment so they dont look 10 years old. granted, that wouldn't be accurate, but trust me, no one likes flat terrain...

You guys could help if you guys want. The world map is massive. So I'm thinking slk editing units, only inlcuding the units needed in the town\worldmap\city. So it's more like Final Fantasy, every time you go to a city or map, it loads a new map.

About the terrain, I will be using Umswer, for the terrain height.

And about the battle system, I'm deciding whether or not to do a battle system , because if I do, then i might get too wrapped up in doing the battle system. How about your guys thoughts on the battle system.

Heres a start on Kain HighWind. Don't Mind the beard, The Mdl Edited Added Helmet will hide it, and a spear will be added. The feat are not done and the clothes are major wip.

the ship is pretty cool, and the kain skin is... well.... decent at best. I agree completely with your decision not to put a combat system in.

way too many FF projects fail because they try to get that (IMO warning) lame-***-time-wasting-P.O.S. battle system working. (end IMO warning)

i could remove the flag threw mdl editing, but it would lose animations, i havn't played FF4, but hopefully i dont need to play it to make new meshes :P well, send me any models you need to have a new mapping for, i cant skin though, and please tell me if you want it mirrored or not.

although it's technically illegal (but not morally) you could download a ROM. god help me if i could help you find it, but a google search would remedy that.

at least it would give you an idea of how the game flows. you might want to resort to cheating so you could beat the game fast and have all your source material.

I'm a huge FF fan, The first FF I played was FF4, and I've played and beaten all FF except for FF2 (even the jap ones) I use to have all the FF ROM's till I reformated my HDD :(:

That Kain's Jump icon looks nice (except it looks like the character from valkrie profile). Also, Kain's lastname Highwind?? I got confused with Cid Highwind from FF7 for a sec. Oh ya, whats Cecil's last name??
