Ok, so when the new Art Tools came out, I decided to make a new model for warcraft. Actually, it's not an entirely new model. What I did, was take the Tauren and remove his totem. Then I was going to give him a bow, and reanimate it as an archer. But the problem is this: I made the bow, a quiver, and some arrows and put them on the model. Before finetuning or retexturing or ANYTHING else after I made some very simple models, I decided to test them in WC3. So I exported it using the art tools, and imported it into Warcraft. Now, the skin looks perfectly fine: The tauren looks just like a normal tauren, and the bow, arrows, and quiver all look correct. BUT, no matter what angle I view it at, the stuff I added is ALWAYS rendered over the original tauren model. Take a look at the two different shots in the attachment. I used WinMPQ to extract the model from the MPQ. Then I used Yobgul's File Converter to make it an MDL, and then I imported it into 3DS Max 5. At first I thought it was because I was using 5, but everything else rendered just like it does in Max. So it's either one of the other tools, or can I just not import existing models?
