ok. i will add this new idea to my map to do a good game play and balanced hero stats for my "AoS" map. this is how it works... 1) all heros will start with low stats (intelligence, agility etc.) that way they will have a very low damage. like 1-10 damage and the heros must buy items (swords, armors, helms, shields and others) because those items have + 20 or more of any stats (intelligence, agility etc.) that way the hero will receive an average damage stat of 32-42 (the swords) the helms may give +4 of intelligence and stuffs like that... (the items will be added to the hero when u buy it (a real sword/helm/shield will be added to the body of the hero)), the purpose of this is to make a new balanced stats for all heros in my map and making it more "interactive" and realist because unarmed heros will not be able to kill by they own, also all players must choose carefully their items... this is just the first idea what do u think????(i call this "item-hero stats"). i never saw something like this in other maps (the hero stats) Note: the heros may buy a "staff" as a weapon, the staff will not have good damage as the swords but it will have fast mana regeneration and fast cast rate (low cold down for the owner of the staff) (this item is very good for ranged heros but kinda useless for melee heros) *the items like also have they own skills like "sword of healing" (will heal when u click on it (heal 250 hp with a moderated col down)) 2) i need a name for the map. i will give a short description: 2 teams* team 1 --> 4 players inside the "castle" (defenders of the castle) Team 2 --> 4 players out side the "castle" (invader's of the castle) 3 separated ways to get inside/out side the castle. Goals: Team 1: destroy the 3 bases of the invaders to win (the red points (see picture)) Team 2: get inside the castle and destroy the magical source of power of the castle. (orange point (see picture)) Starts: the team 1 will start all together in the same place, but the team 2 will start divided in separated points and each player in the team 2 have to make they own way to the castle. so, the team 1 have to divide forces and each player take a gate to fight vs the invader (see picture). *Note: units allies with each team will spawn and fight forever so when i said "make they own way to the castle" is because they will have to fight those units too (the defenders will have to do it too) ---Sorry about the picture. The first idea, with low damage and using weapons to upgrade that damage, is seen in Legacies: Tides of the Serpent. Second idea, to show the items on the hero, I'm doing just that in my AoS :) These ideas aren't new, but good ones and I have no idea why they haven't been used more (specialy number 2) Although, you must keep in mind, that your map will be fairly large, as you need lots of imported items and models to pull this off. Just remember to keep an open eye out for that :) Also, please mention who the item triggers are made by ? :) |

to Zachary_Shadow well. you gave me a large trigger for the item add... but i figured out a short-easy way to do it. im not even using the base that u gave me... but ur idea was good too... in my map, im working with pre-defined units. so i will use short triggers. but i will send u screenshots and export fpr u the triggers to guarantee that im not stealing triggers from other people (or not giving credit) |

Kingdom Defense? Nah not really... Your missing the TD Part that my map had :P Anyways You could just call it "Inquisator's Castle Defense" or... The Defense of Miranda? Let's make a wonderful short story here: The legions of undeads have invaded the City of Miranda. King Kerian and his knights were able to move the people of the city in the castle to defend them. Using the powerful magic of the orb of Tulak, the king was able to destroy a large part of the Legion's army. At the same time, Serax the Vampire saw the great power of the orb and ordered his forces, with the help of his fellow vampires, to attack the north and south gates to make their way right to the orb of Tulak and destroy it so that Kelnabaz the Lich could finaly use his death spell on the king and knights. Serax led his legion to the south gate while Fatima the ghost led her own legion to the north gate. At the same time, Bartazar sent his archers and priests on the walls to defend the north gate and Terak sent his footmen and sorcerers to defend the south one. King Kerian stayed in the middle defending the orb that was their only hope to defeat Kelbanaz. You take or not I dont mind. It's just a short story of my own which could actually use more... of my imagination... :( well anyway its jsut an idea. Want a more complete and more interresting story? PM me :ggani: |
