Hi. I was just wondering how to get the icons i d\led into warcraft 3. I tried using the import manager, but that did not work. Any help will be greatly aprreciated |

Make sure your icons are .blp... if not download wc3viewer. Go to Downloads-> Tools-> Wc3viewer If they are .blp, use the import manager , import the icons... then do this -for icon - ReplaceableTextures\CommandsButtons\BTNicon.blp -for disabled icon- ReplaceableTextures\CommandsButtonsDisabled\PASBTNicon.blp any questions |

I have Wacraft 3 viewer, and all my icons are .blp. So, for the path of the icon in the import manager, i type ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNicon. And where it says "icon", i put the name of it, right As you can already tell, im a noob :P |

ok. I d\led an icon for a death knight skin called the death rider. When i import it, i type in ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNDeathRider.blp But, when i go to select the unit in the pallete, there is an icon with a ? mark and doodad written on it. Can u tell me wut i did wrong? |

Dude, you have to save your map and restart the WE. If you just imported the icon it can't be loaded for some odd reason (in my opinion Blizzard should change this). You have to quit and restart the WE. Then open your map. Now the imported icon should display. |

well I have the same problem, I used a TGA file and it worked fine. When Tiki say to use BLP, it was a yellowish box instead of my icon and it don´t get rid of greenish (disabled) box instead of help, it worsen my work :( . Whut I doing wrong? emote_confused |
