Problem

whenever I import skins or models from an other map they don't appear when I play this map.
Can anyone help?

They don't appear at all, or are you getting green and black checkered boxes?

Whenever you import a file into WE, save. It might also be helpful to close the map and reopen it. This forces the WE to read the file, so you shouldn't have disappearing problems.

If it's just a matter of them not being used, remember to set a custom path for any imported skins to the same path of the unit you're attempting to reskin, like Creeps/Murloc/Murloc.blp or something.

whle in the editor I get green and blck boxes, but when I play the map I get nothing at all but their shadows.

Give a step-by-step detailed description of what you did to import the files, and tell us what files you're importing.

I imported some Doodads models and some unit skins all from a single map.

So I just opened the object editor and said export.

then I opened my other map and said import in the object editor.

Then I started working on the map; placing some of the units and doodas, but by then they appeared just fine.

Then I saved the map and stoped working. the next day, I open my map and I can't see the imported skins/models. All I can see are thsoe boxes.

So I test the map to see what happens and when I play the map I can't see anyhting of the stuff I imported, all I can see is there shadows.

It sounds like you exported/imported all the object data, but not the map's imported models and skins. You'll have to export them using the Import Manager.

You have to manually add the actual model and skin files to your map using the Import Editor. It's the button on the top of the WE window that has a blank white piece of paper with a green arrow.
