Oxalic's Skin C2 NB

Ok when you first clicked this subject you might think whats he mean by Oxalic's skins C2 NB i mean he made Oxalics skins Part 1 2 and 3 and now whats this title. Well if you haven't heard my computer had to be reformatted, crap got ruined and i couldn't back it up. Although it won't make me quit skinning.
The Title stands for Oxalic's Skins Collection 2, New Beginnings. Because i had a huge first collection (full of cnps recolors and skins that needed shading) so know i want a second collection. New beginning because this time i want some really good skins.
I'll start it off with a human demon hunter skin, i had a monk theme with it wether it shows or not. I don't think i'll bother updating this one to much, i've seen so many demonhunters (human) it's clouded my own imagination and creativity.

It's not a recolor i changed the following:
Blade no more ridges, re shaded and textured (stuck with original theme though)
Gave him a hair cut, it's shorter and more even and thick.
New symbol on the weapon (ying and yang monkly)
Face is the same except for new color flesh, eyes, and the hairline is more normal.
I redid the flesh, one with bare chest one with plain white tunic.

What do you mean face is weird eyebrows and eyes? yea i guess so they are 2d....

Blurryness isnt a big concern for me considering ingame he's pretty good looking

Don't abuse the blur tool that much...looks wierd. Tunic also don't really look like a tunic, just a white color over his chest.

Face is hard to do (I've heard, never jumped the DH bandwagon...yet)

Keep working on it, or maybe even redo the whole thing. Only way to learn is to try :)

Yea thank chobo for making a tut on it though thats how i kinda learned. Kirym i'm happy you posted a good comment, but then you said i think thats the best skin in you sucky skinning carrer. First of it should be your no you. Second off i don't think my carreer is that sucky.... and i wouldn't be so judgemental.

not a very original idea for the fire mage..considering the blood mage is practically the fire mage. like the cape on him though.
i also did a fire mage nearly two weeks ago i believe.
not bad, demon hunter's too blurry and isnt very detailed.

i see what you mean by not origanal. But keep in mind just about everything has been done before, what counts is how YOU do it. Your fire mage and my fire mage are quite different. The bloodelf i skinned looks alot different from my firemage although they have some common qualities and looks remaining. As for the monkey i agree, but when i post please comment only on the latest and greatest :)

Now I have seen oxalic post some really crappy skins. But the fire mage is beautiful, I actually must say its good. 8.5/10

Fire Mage's face looks teh badass. Try and make the cape a bit more smooth though.
