The Order of the Black Hammer...

I decided I should post some info about the Order of the Black Hammer...

The order of the Black Hammer was started in 1427 (15 years before the time in which TTOA takes place). It started off as more of a cult, a group of assassins, dark templar, and fallen clerics. The order first adopted an upside-down black hammer as their symbol. They were originally based in Dale, but as their numbers grew, they spread out to Asiragund, and some parts of Ta-Kora and Khaz'Mir. They eventually became more of an organization then a cult. They employ many highwaymen and dark priests, and often raid caravans or travelling parties in Asiragund, and sometimes in Dale. Recently the Dragon Isle of Carnera has been plagued by them. As they have been hired by an unknown source, and have moved their headquarters to Carnera island. The Black Hammer is led by the Dark Templar Warrior, Captain Tamaktai.
At first the Black Hammer's presence on Carnera was unknown, they settled at a small adandoned fortress far from any of the villages of Carnera. After several months however, their presence was known. They refurnished and fortified the fortress into a highly secure stronghold. Carnera has moved to take action against them, but they are holding back an outright attack on the fortress, as they have not been able to muster any good reconissance of the Fortress.

I'm liking this cult very much=). Will they be the ultimate bad guys in your story, or even better, you wont know who the real bad guy is. I mean the story will lead you to believe it's him or her and you'll never really see ti'll the end when the maks fall off, the strings of the puppets become visible and the hand of the prime mover exposed.
So many ideas running thruw my mind! I got to write these things down before i forget.

Heheheh.

I'll tell you that the Order of the Black Hammer is not the ultimate bad guys...

And yes, it will be hard to know who is responsible... and why they did it :ggani:

The Order of the Black Hammer plays a pretty important role though...

Perhaps they are one of the the main bad guys...
Or maybe they are the underlings...
Perhaps they are merely in league with the bad guys...
Maybe they really don't have anything to do with the main bad guys...

I'll leave you guys to ponder :ggani:
