Guest | I need help here. The question's pretty much in the topic, but I need to re-state that. I need a Peasant to be able to have an Inventory, or at least able to carry an item. Help? Suggestions? |

Guest | As far as I know, until someone comes up with an editable ability called 'Unit can have an inventory' *cough hint hint cough*, the only option you have is to make a new unit based on a hero and convert all the stats and everything over to a peasant. The only problem you'll have here, of course, is that the sounds of the hero will carry over... unless, of course, you use one of the new editors. I seem to remember hearing that one of the newer ones can edit sounds correctly... (Honestly, I haven't had time to do any real editing in a few weeks. Damned school.) Edit: There is one thing I thought of... since I missed the second part (at least be able to carry an item). Say the item is a flag (I'm assuming it is, otherwise there's other things you can do). Basically, attach a flag special effect (Is there a path? I really don't remember) to his head and activate another trigger of some kind so when he returns it, it registers. Or something. I'm thinking Starcraft-esque work arounds, here... Like, substituting a peasant for a 'Flag Bearer Peasant'. |

I haven't tried this myself, but make it based on a hero, but delete all hero skills and disable experience gain. I think that'll work. |
