one dollar.
The Hero Glow is actually a part of the model itself, and can't be removed through World Editor. I'm new to modeling, so I don't know how you would do it. I would like to find out, though.

I have a question of my own: how would you put hero glow on a unit that doesn't already have it? I mean the glow effect around the unit's feet (although it would be nice to make the weapon glow too).

Which paint program are you using? Paint Shop Pro 8 and Photoshop 7 do stupid things with the alpha channel, though I hear Warcraft III viewer can still deal with the images they save. But it's still annoying to edit in their new, alpha-less world. To be on the safe side, you should use a PSP below version 8 or download and install the patch for Photoshop 7 that fixes this. (Either the individual TGA loader plug-in update or the 7.01 patch that includes the plug-in.)

Otherwise- what are you using to convert the BMP to the TGA? And does the BMP have an alpha channel? Or was it never exported at all?
