I want to know this: does the Runed Bracers ability stack? I want to make a custom aura that gives nearby units increased damage on spells, and it would make my life wildly easier if it did stack. Thanks.

Grater made public some code for custom aurae in the Trigger and Utility Repository, which I intend to use-- and devote credit for its coding to him, of course. If the ability stacks, nearby allies will just get the ability multiple times; if not, I'd have to make 15 different item abilities(one for each level of the spell) and give them accordingly, something I'd really rather stay away from, which is why I need to know if the ability stacks or not.

EDIT: Well, a change of plans is in order-- I thought the Damage Bonus on the Runed Bracer gave to spell damage, but noooo: it just adds to attack damage. Fat lot of good that does me. Instead, the aura will now lower nearby enemies' spell resistance, accomplishing the same effect.

but...i cannot add damage to your spells :)
but u can give enemy units like "spell damage factor" and increase it from 0.66 to 1.33 or whatever do u need :)

blizz should add some ability like the Orb of Slow but for auras :)))
just change the effect, and it all works fine :))

as a matter of fact, it could be made easely, they would just have to make all the effects (trueshot dmg bonus, atck speed bonus) and one Generic Aura Ability with different effects....now that's a good idea :)

I'm not asking how to do it--I already know--but I'm asking if Runed Bracers stacks or not.

I got off my lazy arse and tested it-- it does, in fact, stack. How handy!

EDIT: I am unsure as to what I was high on when testing; it doesn't stack :P
