1) this has two answers a. Make the shop owned by that player b. this is sloppy but a hero that is invis and has unknown(aloc) and have 0 sight at the shop and store them as a varable(for ording purposed)then make a trigger that constantly makes them be the hero that orders from the shop(using the change user command) 2)wouldn't this be the same thing? or are you trying to prevent certain players from buying certain itmes? If the second one is yes, make a trigger to detect when the item is placed in thier intentory, then remove it and give the player their money back via set property. |

I meant without using triggers.... it looks nicer. I know how to do both with simple triggers.... oh well. I'm not gonna give you 10 points, but i'll give you 5, K? I was thinking without having to use triggers, so like the item would disappear from the shop menu, and the shop from not even showing it's item list to an enemy player. Even when a shop is owned by a player, all players can still acess it... |

Fake it. Have a fake shop on the actual map that the heroes approach. Create an actual shop, and a shopping character somewhere on the map that's unaccessible. When a hero enters range of the fake shop, give them control of the shopping character, and select it for them. Whenever the shopping character gets an item, give that item to the hero. When they hit escape, bump 'em out of the shopping area and select their hero again. You'll want to make sure the hero has any inventory space before they trigger this, and if they fill up their inventory, reset ownership of the shopping character to neutral, and boot the hero out of the "shopping" point (perhaps a circle of power or an elevator?) Freebie, by the way - I'm happy to help. |
