Question about skinning

I've finally managed to get my dad to buy Photoshop (he found it on sale somewhere), but I can't get it to work. I extracted what I needed via WinMPQ (units\demon\HeroChaosBladeMaster\HeroChaosBladeMaster), but it isn't working, Photoshop says it's an unreadable file or something. Help?

Photoshop can't open BLP files...convert it with Image Extractor II into a TGA, which photoshop can read.
