As i thought for sure that the documentaries explained, this is how you do it:

You can either use the same model-file, or create a sepperate. If you use the same file then:

You create a target-camera, this is easy, just use it as you'd expect it to work, you can preview it by setting one of the viewports to it's view.

Then you just create a few animations with names as listed in the end of the documentaries. And these will then only be accessed inside the portrait. This includes a talk and simple look around animations, simple stuff, really.

Now if you decide to do a sepperate file, you'll gain a few pro's.

First of all you can lose some polygons if you don't need them for the cameraview, Secondly you can much more easily concentrate on the talk animation, giving him details in the head area, like a mouth that animates and stuff like that. These special portrait files must be named correctly to be used by the wc3 engine, and it is explained in the documentaries (i don't remember the exact post-fix). They also use a target-camera.
