If I use a passive ability in a spell book, will it affect the hero that has the spell book ability? |

I'm outright guessing that it would not, but I encourage you to do it with a really obvious passive ability and see what happens. And tell us. |

Arg... You're not actually suggesting I DO something? Come on now. Me? Do work? Never.... OKay find :ggani: . I'll brb. Okay. It seems to be screwy. It takes the aura and puts it in the unit's normal actioon card thingy, instead of keeping it in the spell book. It takes the ability and puts it inside the normal action card, instead of the spell book's... Damn that coulda worked... |

I do not believe that auras, passive, and auto-cast abilities set to auto-cast work in spellbooks. |

U could always have the spell make a dummy unit that follows the casting hero around, with that aura skill on the dummy. That is what I did...not with spell books, but normal hero skill. |

And edit the aura to have no effect attachement, then make a trigger that detects that unit's summoning and attaches a special effect on the caster. Brilliant! |

Or see if giving the aura spell no icon would work then if you really want to see the spell in the spellbook, put a dummy spell with the same tooltip as the aura. |

Not true. Passives and auto-casts work perfectly well in spellbooks. The only tricky thing is that if you have no spells that can be cast, you can't open the spellbook - if you have 3 passives and one spell, and you cast the spell, as long as that spell is cooling down, there are technically no spells that can be cast, so the spellbook refuses to open. Other than that, you can cram as many passives as you like into spellbooks. |
