ok, im to the part where i animate his bite attack, i have all of the parenting right, and i have the 0 frame key set for everything, but i want to make it so my jaw stretches to close, so it will rotate just that edge, instead of the whole piece heres some screenies to show what i mean ok here is how it starts |

i think if u have all the vetexes between the 2 peices lined up and u can use the connect option to keep them together when u animate it go to utilities/ user property editor and under one of those sub menues is "connect" just check that box for both of the objects and also in there is an option for bone, check that for all your bones so they dont apear in game |

problem is, i did all that, but ill try it again, how do i get all the vertices lined up? Do they have to be perfect? |

yeah i think they gotta be perfect, like u never moved the peice :/ maybe just get them close as u can then attack the 2 peices together and then take them back apart and try it like that |

Have you previwed it yet, or are you only looking at it in Max? Max will not give you an accurate representation of how your model will look in WC3. It will always look like that in any Max viewport. The tools will "stretch" the model for you. |
