I need a hero spell that creates trees, but as units, not as actual trees. By this I mean that the trees cannot move, or do anything but can be attacked by every unit. Its for a tree wall ability, and i need it to be a worthwhile spell, usefull for blocking whole armies and attacking form range etc. Problem is, im having trouble with creating a ton of these tree like units in one space, i tried making on big tree, but ppl just walked through it. So...is this spell possible? |

Sounds like your "tree" unit collision radius is set waaaay too low (or to 0). Pump it up to like 100 or something very large for a unit; that should prevent other units from walking past them. |

its not that though, i really want a cluster of trees. the one big tree looked stupid. |

Can you just use tree models as units and set thier collision up? btw where is my avatar? jk |

Or you could make your own destructible tree that was targeted as an ordinary unit and have your triggers create a region and fill it with your modified trees. That way they'd have pathing maps instead of collision size... |
