Illidan is dead. There is noone left to lead the Naga triumphantly into battle, as they fight for their vengence apon the Night Elves. Illidan's death split apart the Naga and Blood Elven races. The Blood Elves traveled back to Outland, determined to cure their lust for magic by feasting upon the demons. The Naga, meanwhile, went back into the murky depths to build again.

The Naga did not give up however. Queen Azshara still strives for vengence upon the Night Elves. Azshara ordered a grand tournament of Naga Commanders. Whoever won the tournament, would take command of the Naga forces. Since their defeat, the Naga have added much to their race's arsenal.

You have proven your commanding worth in previous battles before, and now you stand at the final set of islands of the tournament. Prove your worth in battle, and defeat your enemies and become the commander of the Naga forces. Fight for Naja'tar, Fight for Azshara, Fight for the Naga! Ath'ero bathran'as!

Naga Melee is an altered melee map featuring the amphibious Naga race. Included are additional heros, units, spells, buildings, and much more. The naga have also been rebalanced for online play. Also included is an in-game help feature for new players to get acquainted with. Naga Melee uses the Blizzard-made map: Islands.

In case anybody is curious about the next installment, I'm working on getting a terrainer to help me. Instead of basing it off a Blizzard-made map, the terrain will become completely new and exciting, even more fitting to the Naga.

Also, because of the soon-to-be-released 1.3 patch, v1.0 will be delayed so that I can fix any bugs that were caused because of the editor.

Also, in the list of changes to v1.0 include hero glows, custom icons, custom aura graphic for renegade, numerous bug fixes, updated story (found out Illidan wasn't dead), as well as a new strategy guide that can be downloaded only from maps.warcraftiii.net. Release date should be early December.

I'll attach a zip soon.

Well geez, hasn't every unit ever been slapped in a noob map before?

And I have alot of custom, new stuff in this map. Suffice it to say, these Naga have been HIGHLY edited and changed. Next version is also going to have some custom icons in it. I'm hoping in a later version to add a unit with a custom model/skin.
