Thirteen Tribes Story Line-As the world (yet to be named) slowly becomes more dependent on technology rather than the earth iself, tensions grow between the thirteen last tradtional tribes. Some tribes including the celestrials (Delos) and the bull (Lothal) deel the need to succumb to technology's undeniable reign, however some tribes like the earth (Kutubu) and dream (Ras Shamra) want to keep the tradtional ways alive. Since the dawn of time this is the first true sign of rage within the world. Due to the power of the tribes and the rage they are creating, a pure source of evil has been manifested. It is up to you to choose: whether to put aside differences and bond together to kill this evil or use your tribal power to try and conquer other tribes meanwhile evil is oozing its way across the vasy landscape. The style of gameplay depends on how everyone votes. If they vote to fight against the growing evil it will become a Quest style RPG, where everyone fights on the same side. If they vote to overthrow each other, rather than the evil, it will become similar to an Open style RPG where you can make alliances and such, and to make things more interesting if they vote to fight each other, the evil will periodically send out his army toward the remaining tribes; the longer in the game the more difficult the evil armies become. |

That's really cool, Tiki - good idea to make the map customizable to the players will (particularly if one player ends up being a real jerk and the other players want to smack them down). I'm not sure what you have planned, but you might consider a homeland for each of the areas, and depending on their actions/inaction, they can make or lose alliances with different rival tribes. Naturally, the great Evil will want to stomp on any group that's actively trying to defend themselves, so the players may have to fight an army or escort fleeing villagers. It might also choose to offer an alliance, so some areas may oppose the heroes until the great Evil's plans are made evident to them. Basically, a whole lot of random events and random variable settings will give this a LOT of replay value, if done well. :D |

Thank you Biflspud, I planned on having these different types of environments: Desert, Vast Plains, Wetlands, Temperate, Tropical, Tundra, Mountains, Dungeons/Cave, Evil*. Like you mentioned alliances can be changed throughout the game depending on how the player wants to play, and I like the idea that said about the evil siding with tribes that he wishes and either the tribe can offer to become on his side or decline, thank you for the input. *Evil-I was kinda planning on this environment to be wherever the evil manifests itself (which will be random throughout playable map). The evil kills the esisting evironment turning the trees dead and black and covering the ground with blight. As the game progresses the blight becomes larger but is easier to find due to its size. |

You will be able to choose your tribe at the beginning of the game, but depending on which tribe you choose depends on where you start on the map. I did this because I don't want to see the Northerners starting off in the desert. Sure you may be able to help with skins if you wish but I would like to see some of your work before I give the big OK, also if anyone wants to help with models they are more than welcome as well. |

Here is the first screenshot from Thirteen Tribes. This is the making of the Pre-Existing Mountainous City known as Dryope. From here you will be able to get quests, trade, sell, buy or even ransake the entire town (this comes at a price...) City is run by a more established Barbaric tribe known as the Dryopis. |
