Should I skin some models?

I am debating whether I should make a whole bunch of different colored elementals or not. It all depends on the feedback I get on this thread. I know it is really kind of easy modeling to color an elemental, but hey so is an infernal and ppl seemed to like that thread in the models section. I know not everybody is very good at skinning, so it might be good for some ppl to have the work done for them. Plz give me some input so I don't feel like an idiot posting a thread that never gets anywhere.

If you're bored, why not take a look at the request forum? There's a lot of people who'd love to see their ideas made real (including me!)

yes if you want to skin then Skin! no 1 will stop you

im a skinner and im gettin lots of requests which keeps me busy. post some of your skins when you do then (post in skin gallery0 and we'll say what needs to be canged etc and thats how you get better

the infernals weren't skinned. the fire is made of particle emitters. They just used MDL editing to make the fire different colors.

you can only skin the rocks on infernals

and im not sure but i think its the same for water elementals.....

or maybe you can skin there body but the water droplets are particle emitters


i could be wrong about elementals but the infernals arent just skins

i'm really sry, buy I can't help leaving inuyasha's post go without a reply. I am very well aware that all the infernals were just a particle emmitter color change. I am also aware that you can only skin the rocks on an infernal. And I am also aware of how to sking water elementals, and I do know how to skin water elementals.

The whole purpose of this post was to see if anyone would like to get one of these colored elementals, or whether I will just waste my time by making them. Plz don't reply anymore with "nobody's stopping you" I am very well aware of that fact. Please just reply if you would like to have a colored water elemental.(you can't color them right in the world editor, just to let those who don't know that know) I could also do some cool other things with their skins, but I need to know if I will waste my time.
