What is JASS?

I guess this kinda makes me a newb but what is JASS?

Jass is the script lag that is behind all wc3 ai and gui triggers. It is very simlar to most major porgraming lags in syntax. If you know java or C++ you will be able to pick it up quickly. It is also much faster to modfiy then gui triggers if you know what you are doing.

To use Jass in trigger, select a trigger and go Edit->Convert to custom text.
To learn Jass - if you know some programming already - go here.

Actually, I found this old Jass tutorial/whatever a much better thing to learn jass from, it's way old and is lost somewhere in the depths of the forum, but i think someone should submit it to the new tutorial system, as this is the n00b-friendliest tutorial there is for jass....The other tutorials that are already in the tutorial section are mainly directed towards specific things and are not general enough. And the Sourceforge page is better for reference than to actually learn it as its teaching area is a little big load to get.
