I have an ability based on storm bolt which I placed on an item. The abilty has been modified to be an item ability and to target only trees. However, whenever I click on a tree, it still says Must target a tree. What can I do? |

Maybe storm bolt can't target trees? Maybe the tree isn't a destructable or doesn't have the classification "tree" |

Actually, I have a similar problem. Spells based off the Inferno, tend to destroy trees...which I don't want! How can I make it STOP targeting trees? No, tree isn't marked as target.. Think solving one would solve the other... |

No to the 2nd one, but the first one, maybe...... Though it's set to target trees.... |

If a tree isn't classified as "Tree" it is no longer a tree, but just a doodad with the tree model. |

Yeah I know, but it IS targeted tree. |

Some abilities are annoyingly hard coded; force of nature MUST target trees (workaround: Set other doodads to Tree). Hurl Boulder CAN target destructibles; have you tried basing a skill off of that? |

Hey, for ZS, all you have to do is make trees classified as decoration or something. |

Yeah but decoartion is being used for something. I'll try to use Hurl Boulder. I'm at school now so I can't do it until sometime in like 6 hours. I'll tel you then |

Yes, that is really annoying when you are making dummy spells, however I had to base the spell from stasis trap just make both the adquisition radious and the other radious have the area of effect value |
