I want to make a campaign where the maps are strung together and hero stats are transferred from one map to another. The same set of custom units should be used, but how do I go about doing this? There are triggers to lad a specified level, but the key lies somewhere in the Campaign editor where you can insert maps, does it not? But how do I, say, make the same set of custom units that can be used in any map in the custom campaign (this conts transferring hero stats as well, instead of putting the hero of the same 'type' in each map, since the stats might not be exactly the same? Or is that how it's done? Blizzard play-tested to ensure that the hero would level up at least once no matter what?) I do not know, please provide a good explanation of the steps involved, thanks. |

I didn't quite clearly understand what you mean, but i've got two answers. If you are reffering to the Standard Campaigns, where when you finish the map, you are sent to another one with the same stats? If that is the one, you'll find ALL the triggers you need in Game Cache. YOu can save the hero data in a specific file, and load the Game Cache to bring the hero back into another map. If you are reffering to the TFT ORC Campaign kind of thing, where you travel back and forth between maps, I don't think BLizzard permits you to do that in the world editor. I tried, but it says "Blizzard Only Maps". Maybe in a later patch... Anyways, I hope I got the correct thing. If not, Ill try again to figure what you meant. BTW, Goodluck with your campaign :D |

haha! Crayon Shinchan! Ok. Back to the maps. In the ft import manager, import the maps you want to "string" then to transfermaps, use the game caches, and do the trigger "set next map". A good example is Rexxar's Campaign (the orc one). Open WinMPQ then extract it and look at it. |

... They didn't include the Rexxar-campaign (Bonus TFT campaign) triggers which they used to do it. |

The triggers they used on the TFT Campaign ARE in the WE and you can SEE them, but the WE doesn't allow you to use them. It says "Blizzard only maps". |
