I'm trying to get war2 music to my maps, because the ones in wc3 are pretty lame, (except few that are really groovy.) at least compared the ones in wc2. I tried to take them from the game directory, but i can't find them. Does someone know how could i get my hands on the music files? |

I woudn't kill yourself trying to get 'em; importing .mp3s is a bad idea. They don't compress hardly at all, and nobody's ever going to appreciate your effort to put them in a map if nobody will tolerate the lengthy download. |

Isn't there an application on War2 ( I dunno if it's only on the BNE edition though, it's the one I have ) that let's you extract this stuff? Then again, I'm not sure if it's only the unit sounds or the music as well. |

i know for sure that u have the Warcraft 2 intro music in it...now, when i connect to Bnet, there are 2 more musics from warcraft 2....the orcish one and the human one.... u have to search for them....maybe later i'll post their names, if u never played wc2 or u don't recognize them... |

Yeah.. Maybe they're not good when thinking of the downloading. Btw, i used the voice importing thingy in the regular version and it didn't have music in it. ( Well, if there was, i didn't see them :ggani:) But it really would be sweet. But when thinking of other music, on some short scenes, i think you could cut the music to a smaller portions and use them. Aanyhoo, I think i'm still gonna find the wc2 ones... |

If someone had a listfile, it'd be damn easy to get the music. But I can't find one, so everything in the .MPQ is unknown. |
