Ahhhhhh. If you want to put skins on a character, get Image Extractor, or WC3Viewer. Then, open war3.mpq, or for the expansion skins, war3x.mpq. Then, you can take out the BLP's(The format that blizzard's skins use), and convert it into a TGA or JPG. Then, you can edit it convert it back to a BLP(Note: Image Extractor doesn't convert JPG to BLP, just TGA to BLP), and import it into the map you want the skin in by using the import manager, and setting the path as the same path that you extracted it from. If you want more detail, browse the skinning and programme forums. Hope I helped!

How do you find out the path of a skin?

You'll already know the path from extracting it.

How don't they work? You need to give more details before we can help you.

If it's WC3Viewer. don't you need to put a .dll file onto the directory where it's found? There's a readme file, take a look.

BTW, don't the BLIZZARD ART TOOLS let you do the same thing like in the WC3Viewer ( See the skins and save them somewhere to be able to change them )?
