Whenever I try to open trigger maps made by others, I get the error "-Trigger Data missing or invalid" Please, anyone? Is there any tools or plugins I need? |

Welcome to the wonderful world of map protection. Essentially, that's done on purpose to prevent other people from editing the map. There's no workaround to it; that's the point of doing it. If you were just trying to learn from the map, perhaps you can contact the map's creator, and they might be able to help you, but I'm not sure I'd count on that. |

You download a Map Protector such as Heavy Locker and use it on your map. But make sure to make an unprotected backup copy first, or else you're screwed. But that should be common sense anyway. |

Actually you can work around it, but all of the triggers will be in custom text. |

Oh please. Most Battle.Net maps aren't protected in the first place. With tools like HeavyLocker around, cracking into a protected map 99% impossible. Have you got into Legacies? Besides, are all you children forgeting that its wrong to crack into a protected map? |

NO MAP PROTECTORS PLZ, sry bout those who made em, for The Frozen Throne, there is an easy way... After your finished your game, make a backup copy, this is A MUST, then import a BLANK text file, like notepad or something, SET THE CUSTOM PATH TO war3map.wtg save your map, and the next time you try to open it, it will say Could not open file Trigger data missing or invalid i posted this somewhere around here too |
