ok... ive got a prob getting my new model into wc3, it works fine in max, has a slapped on skin (doesnt have anyting to do with model)cause im not worried about skin right now, same with uvw but i doubt that matters. i followed tut for material and animation, I made 4 animations in the graph track view thing, Walk, Stand (nothing in the lil note thing besides stand) death and attack. all of them just have animation keyframes on the coresponding animation start thing except stand where he bounces up and down (fine in previewer) everything is fine in preview, can shift through animations and it works, no extra keys in track view, but when i try to pull it up in wcveiwer it crashes and when i try to pull it up in WE it gives me the evil green box then in game the evil shadow. oh yeah, if i extract as a .mdl it converts fine. whats wrong :( |

The texturpath must be only the name of the texture. |

You must set the teamcolor in the material editor. |

i did... MWAHAHAHA!!! I DID IT!! watcha gotta do is export ur model right... then in the .mdl give ur texture a proper path e.g. if the texture in the material editor is t1 it will come out in .mdl as "t1.blp" but it needs to be something like "textures\t1.blp" and i as far as i know you cant look at it in war3viewer so... and make sure you get all of the paths right :D |
