Any way do reduce the size of a WAV sound file? Get this, my friend had like 18MB of music, and he wondered why his map took forever to DL!!! AHAHA LOL... PLZ? |

Change the wav format to MP3. Wave files have huge file sizes, because they are very high quaility. You have to get a converter which can be found at many places. Just search google and you should find one. |

And in the Save As-Option area of Cool Edit, you can change the Kbps ratio's of mp3's, changing their size but reducing their quality. Indeed to Voltaire, WC3 has full mp3 support, so you should have all sounds as them. |

for importing into the WE, it only accepts WAV |

You can import an file into th eworld editor. Just some will not work. To prove this i just imported a short cut to animation shop ;) Also, I just imported an MP# and it worked- no problem. You have TFT, correct? |

I use Virtuosa for changing .wav to mp3 and vice versa and i edit with goldwave...its and old progam but it does what i want it to |
