ripples are wierd....

imagine a pond. Toss a rock in it. Imagine the ripples as the ripple fuction in the world editors.

About the wave... i dunno

i believe ripples would most commonly be used for an earthquake/groundshaking attack, possibly a large meteor crashing into the ground, leaving a crater and having the ground from ground zero ripple outward. Wave, well id think that would be similar except think more like the attack shockwave, and how the ground acts for that attack.

i would think it would ripple anything in the effected area, water or ground, but I could be wrong.
