ok, I think this is important issue. I need to alpha out the axe on grunt's skin. I know it's possible because I've done it before when I had photoshop 6, and all I had to do was use the eraser. but now I have 7.0.1 and it doesn't work anymore. Please don't refer me to Draco's tutorials, I didn't find the solution there. So, if anyone knows how to do it in photoshop 7.0.1, please tell me. If there's no solution, is there any other software that can do this? |

sashok20, try this open the file... select the area of the tga where the axe paint is....then click on "Channels" its next to "Layers" Click on the Alpha Channel... its on the bottom.... now set your foreground color to black and then press alt+backspace.. thats will paint that area in the alpha channel all black... Save the .tga as 32 bits.. convert to .blp and that should work! try it! |
