I want to make a shop that sells custom tomes, like an attack bonus tome, and armor bonus tome, etc. Does anyone know how to do this? I'll give the first person who gets it right some points. |

Triggers... Unit uses an item, Item equal to <your custom item>, apply stat bonus, give armor bonus ability, etc. I imagine you already know how to make a shop if you're asking this, just put your 'tomes' into the shop and make them do nothing. |

You could make abilities based off of items' attack bonus, armor bonus, hp bonus, etc; then when the hero uses a tome, he learns that iconless ability. The only problem is that it shows those bonuses in +10 format, or whatever. To solve that, you could make a custom upgrade with a bazillion levels that goes up each time a hero uses the tome; those upgrades don't show, but they're annoying to make because it's 1 upgrade per tome type per hero. |

There actually is an item ability called "item permament damage bonus" which adds to attack damage like all other tomes add to stats. You'll have to use triggers for armor though. |
