I see so many threads asking simple questions always answered in the tutorials section. Can't you go to the tutorials section and read before posintg? |

Well, they often learn that they should read a tutorial after they've been told to.. By then they cant turn back time and not say what they asked. |

Yes, and sometimes the tut doesnt answer their questions entirely. |

I find most things so obvious that I can't understand why someone would have problems doing it. Most of the time I don't think they even try to figure out the answer on their own. |

Thats true in every forum. It really annoys me. And I for one check the tutorials and do searches before posting questions. If everyone did that, then the board wouldn't be so full of cr*p. By the way, who voted for No.2? |

Guest | probably the same person who posted a thread about reading in the skinning section... |

I voted for that one just to be a jerk :ggani:. The entire post is more or less preaching to the choir, quite frankly, so I decided to support the ignorant underdogs. |

Biflspud, you've got a comdom in your avatar, so I won't b*tch about it. |

Bah! That's not a condom; that's Purple Tentacle, from Day of the Tentacle, a Lucas Arts verb-noun game. He was the villain. |

well, in some cases the tutorials does not contain the answer. I couldnt get a skin working ingame, and everone said "go to the tuts" and i tried them all and i was still unable to view it correctly ingame. I Do also think that the people who know how to do these things noobs are askin about, are going a little "if I can do it by reading the tutorials, so can you". I do however agree with the "plz help me, im too lazy to try myself" people problem. But the reason i couldnt view skins properly, was because of my version of Photoshop, it was too old and not compaitble with Alpha-channels either. So the only thing i saw ingame, was the team colours. There was no tutorial saying anything about what version of Photoshop u should use (at least not at that time, if there are some now, don't flame me for saying that) and no people (except KDEWolf) who cared to tell me anything else then "check the tutorials" if i remember correctly. |

That, and there's only three tutorials in skinning, and they're not very well written/easy to follow. If you guys feel so strongly that reading the tutorials would answer everybody's questions, go add some good ones. Saikann, I'm stumped on the same problem - mind if I PM you about it? |

nope, just go ahead. |
