I've heard of an impale bug that make units invulnerable or something a while back. I think this is related since the Impale spell is making paused units invulnerable. I basically used a pause action fo a trigger enhancement and while the unit is paused, I hit it with impale. The result is a unit that never unpauses, Is invulnerable, and can't be targeted by any means. Normally, targeting invulnerable units would get you a notice that it's invulnerable, but with this bug the unit is graphically there (you can even click on it and check the stats) but game-wise you can no longer interact withit. Spells like cripple/deathcoil tell you there is no target even when you're pointer is right on top of it. For everyone who uses trigger spells with the pause action and impale... Beware. |
