Less activity

I've been noticing less activity lately, mostly fewer people are on and posts and such aren't made as often. I think this may be a side affect of the new points system, what do you think?

So an influx of spam is soon to come?

SwedishBrute you stats gathering must be way off. Wc3c is at the peak of its activity, look for yourself. We keep breaking this record: Most Users ever online was 282 on 24-11-2003 at 20:50 PM.

You can look for yourself in the who's online table in forum home.

I gathered no stats, it just seemed like people weren't alking/on as much throughout the forums. I'll take a look at that table though.

-Update: I didn't bother to count but active users as of 4:27 AM 11/27/03 was around a max of 30 people. It may be that people are using the invisible mode, and doing tutorials instead of forums.

Then I'm stumped, I have no idea where all this activity is going.

The massive deluge following FT's release is over, thus the site has calmed down. It was inevitable following the popularity boom. Perhaps a lack of completed campaigns (Despite the efforts here) or some other factor drove people away, I'm not sure.

I say it's for the better, mostly - fewer n00b's are here spamming or bitching on about Blizzard cheating them out of WOW or something.

I'm sure the activity will be increasing soon, as two campaigns are almost ready to be released.

trust me, when everyone get's there Blizzard related prezzies at christmas (Art of warcraft for me :ggani: ) they'll rush back onto the forums to boast.

Also, the temp boost of people who came on to talk on off topic has subsided somewhat, now they realise this is a modding site, funny that!

im certain that if there were fewer people just giving up on some things, and leaving, there would be more activity, although that posts per month thing seems to show more, and more posts, or perhaps spam?

Off-topic: im not like all you other fanatics, i dont want to revolve my life around a game, so no game related stuff for christmas for me :)
