Test of the Elites RPG

Welcome to my RPG developing space. I will post screen shots, demo maps and maybe something else :) here.


Let me clarify a few things.
1. why do I call this rpg/open rpg?
Cause it's open in a sense that players don't have to follow each other and can do separate quests. BUT, all the quests they do are turned into equivalent points that benefit the whole team. When a certain amount of points are earned, the final quest begins where all players have to participate.

2. Who's main characters/allies/enemies.
You play as special unit of Orcish army :)
You allies are Taurens and Orcs, enemies are humans and all other creeps.

3. There's no undead, but maybe there will be some night elves.

4. You can choose to have a 3d cam following you from behind and as you rotate. 4 different views like that can be selected

5. There will be optional quest, and required quests. A few bosses that are fought 1v1 like an arena. There will be cinematics.

Installed a rotating came. A player can now choose from 4 different cameras, or not have a camera follow you at all.

You should make a orcish throne room too. A real orcish throne room with beer kags, open fire, fur-carpet, with throphies on the wall, and a boar-steak on the table . A real raiders home! :foot: And send the map with PM, will ya?..be nice!..not mean :(

I'm with Rat Snitch on the castle - what self respecting Orc warchief would want to look at flower boxes every day? His throne should be surrounded by dancing girls and boars roasting on a spit.

I'm a little worried about similarities to the Founding of Durotar campaign, particularly your mention of a troll subplot. You've got a few races to work with; the Ogres abandoned the orcs and need to be brought under heel, the Murlocs are kept as slaves to the Naga and could be either won over or crushed (why not start a rebellion?), the Blood Elves are unaligned and represent an unchecked lust for magic (the same thing that got Gul'dan booted, as I recall).

Don't just rely on the standard "Humans vs Orcs" schtick; you can do a lot more with the orcs then make them human hating thugs.

that throne room is not orcish. I did not make orcish throne room because of my map size limitations. As for similarities, lots of games have similarities, but I assure you I didn't try to copy any :)

Thanks for the props on my throne room ideas. I'd like to help with quest ideas, just come with what you have in mind, so I know what note to play along with. Besides, it's throne room not castle when there's orcs. Agree with they shouldn't just be fighting humans, they should be fighting demonized orcs (not rebels, just orcs who are bound to old demon rituals, undead brainwashed orcs) or even the burning legion itself. Or perhaps the orc horde has trouble with night elf patrols doing razzias and throw-downs on orc camps? There possibilites are many, not just some imperial humans vs brute orcs with flower boxes, haha. Tell you what, maybe thrall have a bounty on his head, and there will be constantly bandits, knights, sorcerors and priests trying to assasinate him, and you have to be his lifeguard? Who knows.. ;)

Is there any other way I can help..like "liberating" resources for you again, hehe? Just call fer my aid, ye know where I am.

Oh so suddenly orcs are savage beasts with no pride or dignity? :)

Yah RatSnitch is right, too humanish. More bare ground, more flags, traditional stuff, ya know. Just get rid of the walls and make a natural throne.

..the orcs just LOVE it when they have good ol' styled throne room of stone, or like a open outside war-throne with orc flags, carpets, open fire and lots of representive tokens of war, plundered treasures, and battle-signs of honor, clan tags, tribe banners, etc.. possibilites are many.. but orc leaders like luxury while still being down to the earth... :gsmile:

The bloody, savage, ol' style ORC BLOOD FEAST! Yarr, I love that. Say, you could also add another alternative; "Join him in his blood feast."
Your choiches seem to tend to more "ignore him" or "punish him", but why not also "JOIN HIM!?" although that may make you look more indisciplined to the other orc tribes, it gains you more military reputation or some such. Whaddya think about it? Or some such. BLOOD BLOOD AND MUSHROOMS! :ggani:
