The crash trigger basicaly is any trigger which has no conditions and has the action "Run this trigger" which causes an infinite repeat and closes warcraft immediately. Main Use: If you want a beta that is limited in size you can use this trigger to close the game before the players can even see the map. If only one player slot is active in the game then it is single player so the game can be force crashed by this. Using conditions you can check to see if any names not on your beta list are in the game "If players name is not equal to this or this or this or this and so on" Thus anyone trying to play the game without your permission will only have WC3 shut down for them, this can thus protect your map from being played by people you don't want to play it. Tell me what you think. |

How about a trigger that goes off in 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, it crashes game. However, there is another trigger that is looking for a certain script. (something hard that only you would know) Like if you said jojoberries991, then it would turn off the crash trigger. That way the map can only be played with you! (B/c you would cause the trigger to replace your text with Crash disabled, or something of the likes.) |

I have a better idea. If there is no player with the name of the creator playing, crash the game. |

Actually that's basically the good use of the crash trigger I mentioned above, just your version allows only the creator to play. The purpose I designed the trigger for was to allow anyone who was part of a beta group to play it, and if someone is not part of the beta group but downloaded and tried to play the map, the game crashes and denies even a glimpse of the map terrain. |

You can also do it for people that are noobs. You can add a little quiz on a PRO version of a map, and generate some random questions based on the map. Wrong answer=crash. |

To have complete protection you need to do this. Otherwise people can log onto a differnt realm and use your name, so your game might be safe on Azeroth, but not on Lordaeron, unless you have accounts for all 4 servers. :santa: And also... of course you would replace my name with yours... or you can just disable al ltriggers and cast black shadow over the whole map, not causing people who acidently got it to have to restart war3. |

I have a better idea. LAG the game like hell =). Spawn like 30 units a second and make them go into cinimatic mode. Then they have to Alt-F4 or reboot. |

i was managed to make a custom abilty based of dark summoning so evil when i used it it restarted my computer instantly.... i believe (was a while ago) i used shift+click to overide the 90 unit maxiumum, set the AOE to something nightmaraish and then tried to summon the whole map worth of units.... |

i put a fail safe in my map, which - checks if i am in the server - if someone by my name is in the server, i will need to input a code to allow the game to continue |
