Error...help someone

Ok ive got a map I made a while back and the reason i stopped on it was because i kept getting an Error message whenever i try and open the abilities editor and it crashes WE can someone tell me some way to workaround this or fix it its pissing me off

We can't do **** if you don't tell us what the error is...

I've read of similar problems resulting from an ability being assigned a Race value "commoner" or "critter" or something like that... Were you doing anything like that before it started happening?
