Bug(s): 1.) If you press convert without anything in the fields, it freezes (just wanted to point this out). 2.) No help file, what is with you man?! O.o 3.) Test 1: Faliure Steps: Opened MDX Text Editor Converted Arthas.mdx to .obj Imported into 3ds Max, edited it a little. Converted it back to .mdx with OBJtoMDX Loaded WinMPQ, added it to Units\human\Arthas Loaded World Editor, tried to place Arthas. Error: Unable to open units\human\arthas\arthas.mdl Reason for Test 1: Faliure Exporter chopped up the .obj, putting two spaces between the v and the coordinates. *More to come* |

Loaded WinMPQ, added it to Units\human\Arthas Loaded World Editor, tried to place Arthas. Error: Unable to open units\human\arthas\arthas.mdl You used different pathnames... I'll look into the max .obj thing.. -Fredric |

Ah, I found the problem... From a .obj exported by 3DSMax... "f -29//-29 -30//-30 -32//-32" From a .obj exported by Milkshape3D... "f 281/1/154 283/1/156 278/1/153" Quite a bit different, I'll add an option for loading 3DSMax objects, or Milkshape3D objects real quick... -Fredric |

Problems problems problems.... http://home.insightbb.com/~m.dorothy...05115_copy.jpg There's a screen shot of KMK's lambo that was put into .mdx format with my editor... It works if you use Milkshape3D, that's all I can say for now.. -Fredric |

well.... at least half of it works :) btw.... for the texture path... do you link it to a blp in the mpq or that file that goes with the obj |

The texture pathname links to the pathname to the texture in the .mpq, it currently doesn't work, but I'll try and upload a new version tonight... -Fredric |
