Hello. I dont use Poll-Function, cause lots of stupid guys vote crap and dont explain why. So just write it down, please :-) I found a nice survival map, with a different playing style than most others. But it was missing many nice features. So I decided to recreate a map like this, just making it better >_< The important stuff you need to know bout the fighting part: All heroes are in a small arena and every round more and stronger stuff spawns. At the moment _1_ player needs to survive the round, then everybody is respawned next round. Now if you die, you will have an EXPERIENCE PENALTY. Now, what kind of Death / Penality would you like more? Penality 1. (the way I have it now) If you die, you lose all experience gained in this round. I save the experience after every level. Lets say you got 500 Experience at the beginning of round 3. You kill some stuff and gain 100 experience more before a nasty invisible/critical draenar kills you. Next round, you are again at 500 experience. 2. (for teh weak) Your experience will be saved when you die. So there is no more real experience loss. 3. (...) You lose 1 Str, 1 Agility and 1 Intelligence when you die. Your experience will be saved when you die. (like in 2.) 4. (hardcore) You lose 2 Str, 2 Agility and 2 Intelligence when you die. Your experience wont be saved when you die. (like in 1.) Death A. (the way it is now) Like normal. Hero dies, flies up in hero heaven and is gone. He comes back next round. B. (for teh weak) You respawn some time after you died, but got fighting penalites for short time (i.e. something like a weak longtime cripple spell.) C. (...) Your hero will drop dead on the ground. An allied hero can ressurect the hero with a spell in the next 30-60 seconds. If not, you are dead. (respawn next round or dead forever) D. (hardcore) There is no respawn. You died. gg no re What would you like?^^ Im fine with my 1A. But dunno. |

I don't like losing stats, not unless you can buy tombs at a resonable price. I like the experience loss best. Persanally, I would prefer to earn lives. Ankts take up too much space. So dieing could cost gold or lumber or something to come back to life. Since it is a survival senario I would like to die and not come back... but that would kind of suck. I like the time delay, but spawn next round I like best. So that you don't get a reward for dieing that round. |

A best of both worlds solution for the character resurrection is when somebody dies they can do nothing and they get resurrected next round. If people don't want to wait they can hit Esc and allow other players to resurrect them with a spell, they will get penalty's for doing this though that and if you earn lives it takes two lives instead of just one. |
