How do I change the pathing of tiles?

Is it possible to take a tile and change its properties so a unit can't walk on it? I would like to take the lave tile and make it impossible for a unit to walk or build on but I can't figure out how. Any help is appreciated :ggani:

Is the pathing blocker the doodad known as LOS blocker? I could use the LOS blocker but it blocks line of sight and I want things to be able to shoot and see over the lava but not walk on it. Or, is there another doodad that I am missing?

Zepir's WE allows you to mess around with pathing, so you could use that to get the pathing on the terrain right.

Does Zepir's work with the new version of World Editor?

No.

Use pathing blockers. Theres a thing in the "Pathing Blockers" section called "Pathing Blocker (Ground)". Line your lava with that.

Or, you could do a unit comes in range of region. just make a region around the area you want. And then just make the unit stop. and if he moves closer again, then he stops again.

I'll use the pathing doodad, it should work fine. Trigger idea is good but I have lot of rivers of lava and it would take forever to make regions for all of them. Thanks for all the help.

you know you could just use shallow/deep water and change its color to red for lava.

Its under Scenario --> Map Options water tint color

Do shallow water tinted orange over lava tile. That looks just like lava (more than the tile itself)
