Is the contest still going to work?

This may be the wrong forum, I dunno. But for like the last 4 months the contests prize money has been stuck at $620 ..that's a bit sad, it won't be quite enough for a whole team...but do you think it will still work?

I freely admit I've checked any of the actual projects, but I'm still cautious as to if any will even finish. Even through many months, it's still a lot of work and motivation. Look at the overall lack of campaigns, compared to SC, since WC3 was originally released.

I just have my doubts, but hopefully some people will kick some proverbial and righteous butt with their work instead.

$620 is still a nice bit of cash, even if it is shared among a team, and hopefully its motivation enough to get people to make some good campaigns for us.

the thing is, people who visit this site are mainley around the age of like 13-18 and they dont exactly have the money to be forking out for prize funds. But 620 is still alot of money, im sure it will motovate people still.

I was going to contribute to the pot but when I saw that it wasen't going up anymore I didn't. Maybe I should. If it keeps going i might reconsider.
