Iam putting this here for when I ask some people around here for project hosting, so if you have any comments (good and bad) please post them here..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CHARACTER'S I will start out with explaining some of the characters: -KenSoth: Main character (the one that people will play by default) is a warrior that was imprisoned for not following orders. Plus alot more that if you ask I will tell. -Merchant:Someone that pays him for killing people (see Mission Line). -Gobbling: a warrior for the 'other side' (dark side) -Kaddo: The most powerfully, strong, and has lottsa magic skills (dark side). -Warlock: a magic person (dark side). -kainmoose: a women priests that brakes KenSoth out of his jail (dark side and light side). -Berserk: a very strong, very stupid, orc with a morning star and a shield (dark side) -Wield Berserk: a berserk with complete body armor and a magic spell that stun enemy's with every hit, even thought he is very slow (dark side) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mission Line Mission 1: basic mission gets the player into 'the feel' of the controls. Basic combat and weapons use (this is when the main character gets out of jail Mission 2: Meets the merchant and gets a stealth mission with a reword of some gold and weapons Mission 3: ___________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Does anyone like it? Please I would like 'mod' hosting!!! BTW I HAVE MORE MISSIONS SETUP I JUST NEED THE GO AHEAD FOR THE HOSTING B4 I TELL YOU GUYS EVERYTHING!!! |

Horrible concept. Really. First of all, try to learn basic spelling and grammar before beginning with a major project. Second, those characters seem pretty strange. kainmoose, the women priests? Is this an actual group of priestesses known as 'kainmoose'? Third... eh, never mind. I'm not going to waste my time pointing out the problems with that concept. My suggestion is to give up right now to spare the general population from the horrible experiences this project would be likely to cause. |

I will agree that the names are pretty dopey, but that's pretty uncalled for, Buletcatcher. Don't piss all over the guy for having an idea. (DS is slang for oral sex, however - do please choose another abbreviation!) Make your RPG - just keep in mind that telling a good story is very important, as is avoiding linearity. If it's "Oh, good, you're the adventurers I wanted to hire. Go kill these monsters and go to town 2," nobody will really care when the NPC at town 2 says "Oh, good, adventurers! I have these monsters that need killed..." |

Hey, you did say you wanted 'good or bad' comments... Still, here is a friendly and positive version of my post: I'm wish I could say this was the best idea ever, but sadly, I can't. With a bit of work, though, you could probably make it a great campaign! One thing to keep in mind while working on a project you will be releasing is to try and use correct spelling and grammar: It really enhances the experience. Next, you might want to consider using more beliavable names for your characters: kainmoose, for example, really doesn't sound like a female name. While I could try to give you some more help, I have things to do, so I'll just stop here. My final suggestion is to give the whole project a bit more though, and perhaps try to work on the things I mentioned above? Good luck with the project! |

Hmm... I think that you would need a bit more 'flesh' in the idea first. Now it's a little sketchy and you haven't gotten enough storyline to let us tell you how interesting we think it is. Remember : a couple of people do not an RPG make. It's the storyline that makes an RPG what it is best known for. I agree though, that you may have to rethink your names, such as DS :D and kainmoose. In my opinion, kainmoose sounds like the last name of an orc. Dak'tha Kainmoose. You see what I mean? It's a little hard to imagine a good looking female lead character Kainmoose... So spend some time to write up a storyline, and then work everything in. I do like the start, feels like BG2 already, but as I mentioned, you do need more work on it. Actually it really feels like BG2.... hmm. ok :) |
