okay, so i got this really cool model that I have made, but I really don't know how to skin it. I get the whole thing with UVW maps and extracting the image, and using the material editor, etc... But a blizzard skin is only 1 texture file that has all of the different objects layed out on a nice plane. When I unwrap an object via Textporter, I can only get 1 object unwrapped on a single plane. I have no idea how to get all 20 some odd objects all unwrapped on a single plane. If anyone knows of any tutorials or programs that are designed specifically to do this, I would love you to death. (well not really, but you get the point:D) BTW i use 3ds max |

you need to texport all of the objects seperately, thhen export the model together. |

Please do. I'm just learning the concept of Unwrapping now, and Randon157's tutorial is awfully vague on the instructions - I'd love to read a detailed tutorial on unwrapping right about now. |
