Guest | Is there any way to change the targeting priorities of units in a map? It is somewhat annoying to have some units charge past a group that is actively trying to kill them...this mainly happens with regards to units that have fortified armor (like a steam tank). Other units will completely leave them alone until the other units in the area are completely gone... Would I have to delve into somehow changing the AI scripting for this? Or will I have to take a step back and simply give my fortified units a different type of armor, etc... |

Guest | I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure this is determined by the "Priority" field in the Unit Editor. |

I tried changing that and setting them all to 1 - no difference in their attacking. |

Priority determines where they'll be in formation |

Wouldn't that be handled by the "formation rank" value? |

Hmm...thats what the note in the .slk file said, perhaps they use it in two different ways in different files...or something... |

I think I'll try changing the "formation rank" value then, just for kicks, in case they got them mixed up somehow ;) Anyone know a definitive answer though? |

Guest | Priority determines where their unit icon appears in the unit groups. The higher the priority, the closer to the first spot the icon will appear. Heros are 9, spell casters tend to be 8 or 7 and so on. |
